    Compensation Program Development

    In a time of economic uncertainty, the challenges of maintaining pay programs that balance internal equity, and external competitiveness has never been more important. When pay budgets are tight, maintaining an engaged workforce is more challenging than ever. When financial resources are limited, organization leaders are required to seek new, creative ways to motivate the workforce and keep employees engaged. Our speaker will share his observations and insight about how Wisconsin employers are coping with these challenges today, and will share specific knowledge about the following topics of interest:

        Using a formal approach in the development of a competitive pay structure;
        Aligning labor costs with economic realities;
        Engaging Staff with limited resources; and
        Aligning reward systems with business strategy and performance metrics.

    Finally, research has shown that most organizations do not attempt to measure return on investment (ROI) of incentive programs, and see them as a “cost”, rather than an investment. When the focus is on investment, however, leveraging the value of incentives enhances the organization’s ability to engage employees and motivate the workforce to achieve the goals of the organization.
